We are pleased to share important updates from the ICT Department regarding our commitment to fostering digital literacy and computer education across all levels at Rowdha-Internationa-lAcademy.
1. Introduction of Digital Literacy for Early Years:
Our early years students will now begin their journey into digital literacy, developing essential skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
2. Digital Literacy for Years 1 to 9:
Students from Year 1 through Year 9 will engage in comprehensive digital literacy lessons, equipping them with foundational knowledge and skills for safe and effective technology use.
3. Computer Science for Years 10 and Above:
Students in Year 10 and above will advance into Computer Science, exploring indepth concepts such as programming, algorithms, and systems.
4. Controlled Computer Environment:
All computers within the school premises are centrally managed by the school’s ICT team to ensure a secure and conducive learning environment.
5. Blocked Harmful Sites:
To maintain safety and focus, access to harmful or inappropriate websites is strictly blocked across all school devices.
6. Encouraging Safe Internet Use:
We encourage our students to visit educational websites and are advised to report any malicious or suspicious content they encounter, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility online.

Our ICT syllabus is carefully designed to align with Islamic principles, ensuring that our digital education promotes ethical and responsible use of technology.
